Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Where do you practice? A: The initial visit will require an in-person appointment in our office in Herndon, VA. The follow up appointments can be virtual (telemedicine) or in person.
Q: Can you prescribe medications? A: Yes. I function autonomously in Virginia and am able to prescribe both medications and integrative treatments as necessary.
Q: Do you participate with insurance? A: I do not contract with any insurance companies and I am not a participating provider with Medicare or Medicaid. I am able to provide you with a superbill of your visit that you can submit to your insurance company if you are a member of a private payor insurance group that is not Medicare or Medicaid. I am also able to order lab tests that can be sent through laboratories that are part of your routine insurance coverage.
Q: What group of patients do you see? A: I see both males and females aged 18 years and older.
Q: Can you be my primary care provider? A: I cannot be your primary care provider. I do not offer physical or health screening exams. My goal is to work in collaboration with your primary care provider, specialist, or OB-GYN.
Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you would like to cancel or reschedule, you must give us a notice 24 hours prior to your appointment. You can reach us through the patient portal or by voicemail/email. Should a notice of 24 hours not be provided in order to cancel or reschedule a follow up visit, we will charge a $150 'insufficient notice' fee.
